About VOGV

After the homegoing service, I heard from people for a few days
afterwards. But as the days went by the phone calls stop coming
and the visits were few and far inbetween. But that did not
lessen the pain and the need to talk with someone just kept
growing. There were days when I felt my world was caving in
and I had no one to call.

I felt helpless and felt that I needed to do something so that the
memory of my son would not die. I thought what better way to reach
other people that are or have experienced what I am experiencing
than over the Internet. So I prayed and asked the Lord what He
would have me do concerning a website and I felt led to develop
this site and hope that it is accomplishing the purpose it was
intended for.

My son Isaac, known by "Zack" to most of his friends, was
sometimes referred to as "the Prophet" and would have been happy
to know that VOGV is a non-profit organization designed to help,
touch and heal the inner spirit of those that have been spiritually wounded by
losing a loved one due to gun violence. Any type of violence is
deplorable but we are focusing on guns because they have
affected our family and our lives the most.
